Promoted Content

If you would like to make sure your website or blog is featured more prominently on pr-hamster.com, you can pay the hamster to "promote" your link. A promoted link is given a small blue label in the lower-left corner and placed at the top of the page, before our regular links:

Benefits

  1. High visibility - Your website is placed right at the top!
  2. High credibility - Instead of using a banner ad, your website is integrated into our layout, increasing credibility and click-through rates. 
  3. More control over content - You can suggest the text that accompanies your link.
    Please note that we reserve the right to refuse descriptions that we do not deem appropriate for pr-hamster.com or that are in our view misleading or offensive.  
  4. Flexible layout - You can replace the standard logo and text layout with a larger banner-like image, e.g.:

    Please note that the image has to be static (e.g. no moving or blinking GIFs) and fit within the link box (maximum size of 210 x 142 px). Also note that users tend to react more positively to advertising that looks like content and we therefore advise using our standard layout (for more information on the effects of banner-like layouts, check section 10 from this post on usability guidelines by Smashing Magazine)
  5. Link to your PR agency - Promoting a link gives you the possibility of linking to websites that are normally not included on pr-hamster.com, such as PR Agencies and general PR service providers. 

Pricing

The price of a promoted link is 29 euros per month per category. The homepages for "PR Tools" and for "PR Blogs" are also counted as categories. The order in which multiple promoted links are placced depends on availability: first come, first serve. 

Please note that prices do not include VAT (German: Mwst) and that no VAT is charged on promoted links.

We reserve the right to refuse to honor any incorrect prices as we cannot account for the occasional human error. Availability depends on the number of free spaces left. We will only accept advertisements that we deem relevant for our target audience.
